$25 for $250 worth of Spa services at Planet Beach, Latham

An interesting deal from an all-automated Salon. I really should go try this out and report back. Planet Beach is an all automated spa so no facialists or massage artists – just machines. It’s sort of Pre-Terminator or I, Robot. It’s all good until the machines start giving us a little pushback. I digress. So this deal is $25 gets you a week’s worth of spa services including 1 Mystic Tan. Even if the Mystic Tan was all you got, this is still a good deal. This could be a nice idea during your staycation. Just a thought.

$40 Mani and Pedi at Rumors Salon listed in the Best of (TU)

I’ve been waiting for a good mani/pedi deal and I bit on this one. $40 gets you a classic mani/pedi experience at Rumors Salon (very salon-y music) in Latham. They’ve been listed in the Best of issue of the Times Union and get pretty decent reviews. Do any of my besties want to buy too and we’ll make an evening of it? What say you? I’m all in. $20 for 20 day passes to Gold’s Gym

Fabulous deal! I belong to this gym and the locations are very convenient – Clifton Park, Latham, Schenectady (Balltown Road!) and Guilderland. I’m guessing their day passes are regularly $15 making this a hell of a deal. The YMCA charges $10 for their day passes, so by any measure this knocks it out of the park. The caveat is you must use them by August 19. You can work out 2o days by then, right? Welcome to Groupon.
